First we used a bubble machine and we all chased and popped
lots of bubbles as they flew away.
After that we had our own bubble wands to make our own bubbles.
We all had a great time.
When we came back to the classroom, we talked about our experience and wrote a brainstorm about all the things we saw, felt and heard. Then we had to write our own stories using describing words. Here are some of our stories.
We went outside to blow bubbles. They
felt sticky and wet. They looked like the
colours of the rainbow.

We went outside to play with bubbles.
It was cool. My hands got sticky. I
chased Will's bubbles.

Today we played with the bubbles
on the court. They popped and
we ran to the bubbles but they
popped before we got there. The colours were beautiful rainbow colours. They were pink and
purple and green and yellow.

Today we went outside. I blew the biggest
bubbles. It was amazing. My bubbles looked
like the rainbow.

Will's bubbles were really big and we popped them. There were some small bubbles and we popped the small bubbles too. The bubbles felt soft like a feather and they felt runny.
